Furman University and Greenville Technical College classes are registered through their websites.

 
 1-Class           $15

 5-Classes       $65 expires 60 days

10-Classes      $130  expires 90 days

 5-Classes for Prenatal  $75

Benches and shoe shelves available as you enter IT'S YOGA! STUDIO, Inc.


Bring your yoga mat.  There are mats in the office for sale and for rental.


Arrive on time.  Wear comfortable clothing.  Have clean bare feet.


It is advisable not to eat one to two hours prior to class.


Turn off cell phones, pagers or beeping watches prior to class.


If it is necessary to leave early, leave before deep relaxation, not during it.


 


     Through practice, the breath becomes even and rhythmical, the mind focused and calm.  This naturally creates a harmonious inner state, the firm foundation of meditation.

     Daily classes focus on poses and integration with deep relaxation, rhythmic breathing, concentration and meditation.  Each part is integral to the practice.  Stay with the sequence led by the teacher.  If needed, a modified pose will be given.  Use your inner guidance to honor what is best for you.

     The closing deep relaxation is essential to fully absorb the benefits of the practice.  Class concludes with the palms placed together at the heart saying "Namaste," that is, "I honor the place in you where we are both one."

This unique training is for

Lifestyle Participants and Aspiring Teachers.

     Lifestyle participants are those who attend the training and embrace yoga as a tool to effectively reach new heights with their personal practice.

     Join us for a transformational experience.  Study in-depth the ancient Astanga (eight-limbs) system of yoga.  This is a course of study for those choosing to deepen their understanding of Yoga.  Encounter the joy of yoga, meditation, health, ayurveda, relaxation and self-discovery.

     Learn asanas, pranayama, anatomy, philosophy, ayurveda, chakras, and meditation.  The program is in compliance with the National Yoga Alliance standards of 200 hours and you will receive a certificate for completing all modules..  These unique weekend sessions will be for 12 modules, once per month on Saturday and Sunday.  Call 864-354-2882 or 908-0138 for further information.  Enrollments for audit curently being taken.
